When I was younger my brother James was the one who introduced me to the world of fantasy. It was his multiplayer games that he'd drag me and my younger brother Jon into. Watching him play Final Fantasy and then have him give me books that probably were not meant for such a young age, I became entranced. In the front of every fantasy book that I read, there was always a map! So pulling out my Crayola crayons, this is what was drawn. Basing my different races off of the elements, this then formed into their own land. Dwarves with the mountains, elves with the forest, mers with the water and finally volkins with the sky. Political and racial rivalry came later. The entire story grew, changing and mutating with time. As for the map however, it always stayed the same.
